Tree Reduction and Shaping
If you have a tree that has outgrown its environment or is looking unbalanced, our tree reduction and shaping service can help. By reducing the overall height and size of the canopy while retraining the tree’s shape, we keep your trees in balance with their surrounding environment.
Like other plants, trees love sunlight and will often grow towards the light. This is fine if the tree is not obstructed. However, where areas of the canopy are obstructed, over time some trees can start to lean in their bid to reach the sun’s rays. Whether you have just bought a new property and inherited a TPO or you are looking for help with a tree in a conservation area, we can help. We can assist with applications for works on protected trees so that all work is carried out with permission and in accordance with legislation. We provide the initial inspection of the tree and can complete an application to the local planning authority (LPA) on your behalf. Your application will detail the work required and will be assessed in person by an LPA representative. You will then receive a decision within a timeframe set out by the LPA.
Deadwood Removal
Ideally, any deadwood on your trees should be removed as quickly as possible. Removal will reduce the likelihood of branches snapping and causing injury or damaging property.
